Youth sports is, for many, a rite of passage, growing up in America. It is a shared experience of days spent at the ballpark as a family, sliding in the dirt, eating hot dogs, and enjoying America’s favorite pastime. Over the years however, our expectations for the facilities where we let our youth play have grown alongside our love of the game. Parc Natchitoches was designed to accommodate youth baseball, soccer, and cross-country events, but it is not just a sports park. It is a cultural hub for the community with walking trails, fishing ponds, playground equipment, covered pavilions and a dog park to be completed soon.

Sports parks are proven catalysts for urban development. Parc Natchitoches has already proven itself an economically beneficial asset for the community. This investment into the community is paying dividends down the road by attracting regional tournaments to Natchitoches, bringing hundreds of families to the park and patrons to local businesses.

This newly constructed 100-acre complex was designed to accommodate youth sporting tournaments for baseball, softball, soccer, and cross country running, as well as Northwestern State intramural events. It boasts a public gathering area, a 5-plex baseball pavilion with artificial turf grass infields and natural grass outfields, 4-soccer fields, covered batting cages, and concession stands. A unique feature of the park is Championship Field, built into a naturally occurring topographic depression on the property. It is 20 feet lower than the remaining four fields, creating natural grass amphitheatre style seating on its third and first base lines.
